"Greensboro police learned of the second homicide Saturday morning, when they responded to the home at 2416 Springwood Drive about 7:25 a.m. They arrived to find 23-year-old Richard Norman Michaud III suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Six or seven people were in the home at the time of the shooting, Hastings said.
Michaud, of Madison Avenue in Greensboro, was shot sometime during the party.
Authorities are still trying to piece together the sequence of events that led to the shooting, Hastings said.
They haven't released how many times Michaud was shot or where.
Late Saturday afternoon, police were still collecting evidence and interviewing people who were at the home during the shooting.
Michaud's body is scheduled to be sent to Chapel Hill for an autopsy this morning." - Greensboro News and Record"
